'Too many people' are dying at work

There are still too many people dying in the workplace, according to a sector expert, which may increase the need for health insurance.
A spokesman for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) says that the 180 fatalities that occurred in the UK last year while people were at work is still too high a figure.
"It's still not good enough, three people dying at work every week is unacceptable. I don't think any organisation would think that is an acceptable thing to be happening in the 21st century," he explains.
The representative states that although the number is much lower than last year, when there were over 200 deaths in British workplaces, the reductions need to continue as part of a longer term strategy to eliminate fatalities.
According to the latest national statistics released by the HSE, there were 0.59 deaths for very 100,000 workers over the last 12 months, which may boost the need for medical health insurance.
