Cancer myth busting
  • Myth: Stress can cause cancer
Research has shown that stressful events can change the hormone level in the body however there is no conclusive evidence to suggest that the changes cause cancer.

Myth: Red wine can protect against cancer
A small study suggested that 1-2 units of alcohol a day can reduce the risk of prostate cancer by up to 50%; there is no strong evidence that red wine can protect against cancer.
